What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

Paint protection film is the only detailing service that offers genuine physical protection. A clear thermoplastic polyurethane film, typically 150–200 microns thick, is precision-cut to your car's panels and applied wet so it conforms to every curve, then wrapped around edges so no seam is visible. Because the film is elastic, it absorbs the energy of stone strikes that would otherwise chip the clear coat — the single most common and most expensive form of paint damage on Indian highways. Modern films are self-healing: light scratches and swirl marks disappear when the surface warms in sunlight or under hot water. PPF is sold in coverage levels: front-end kits protecting the bonnet, bumper and mirrors cover where most damage occurs, while full-body coverage protects everything. Quality films carry 5–10 year warranties against yellowing, cracking and delamination.
