Express detailing exists because a full detail takes a day and most people cannot spare one. The exterior gets a proper two-bucket hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo — not a brush wash — followed by a spray sealant or ceramic detailer that adds real gloss and a few weeks of hydrophobic protection. Wheels are cleaned and tyres dressed, because clean wheels change how a car reads more than almost anything else. Inside, the cabin is vacuumed, the dashboard and console wiped with a matte protectant, and all glass cleaned inside and out. What is deliberately omitted is the slow work: no clay bar, no machine polishing, no hot-water extraction, no odour treatment.
